Mr. Raj Essoo has a Bachelor’s Degree, BTech(Hons) in Civil Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Having successively held key operational responsibilities over 25 years, he has acute business acumen.

He specialises in environmental management and is well versed with the finance and HR functions. He is currently leading a company with over 600 employees. He is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Dayen is a Management Professional, with over a decade of experience. He oversees the management of the Facilities Management and Wellness Cluster of Kalis Investment. Under his charge are several companies, with a combined labour force nearing 500 employees, who are engaged in the fields of Facilities Management, Building Construction, Cleaning and Hygiene Services.

Dayen, who is a graduate in Economics and holder of an MBA, also acts as a resource person for Premium Business School, delivering lectures in the field of Management for award courses for the Association of Business Executives, as well as non-award courses. He is an appointed RPL Facilitator by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority.

Mr. Niraj Jealal has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Mauritius and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Technology Mauritius. Mr. Jealal has more than twelve years’ experience in the field of management.

He started his career at Maurifil Ltd and he is presently the Manager of Arkolac Ltd and Africa Supplies And Services Ltd. Mr. Jealal also has an exposure on Paint Technology and has a vision to establish Arkolac Ltd as a company well reputed for the excellent quality of its products and services both on the local and foreign markets.

Mr Fawaaz Lallmahomede holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). During his time within the Kalis Investment group, Fawaaz specialized in photovoltaics design and implementation, performed electrical and mechanical engineering duties in planning, deployment, implementation and overseeing construction and maintenance of broad range of electrical/mechanical systems for facilities and equipment.

Supervise and leads engineers and technicians in the installation, operation, including maintenance and repair activities ensuring all aspects of operation and associated processes are in compliance with project specifications and completed within planned time and budget constraints. As part of his role he also provided support, mentoring and training for fellow engineers and technicians.

An effective communicator, with the ability to interact at all levels, Fawaaz adopts a common sense approach to the practical implementation of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring full compliance to their requirements and understanding throughout.

Mrs Jenny Goorwappa joined Keep Clean Ltd since 2007 and she has, over the years, climbed the managerial ladders within the organization. She has initially been involved in an administrative position, gradually moving on to a Finance role before subsequently taking on a Managerial position, dealing in activities such as Facilities Management, Building Construction and Cleaning Services. Mrs Goorwappa is a Part-Qualified Accountant, studying while on full-time employment aiming at completing the final examinations of the ACCA soon. In her managerial position, she has successfully helped the organization build a solid financial foundation that has been one of the key elements in fostering growth at all levels over the recent years.

Over time she has developed various managerial competencies, such as overseeing and maintaining the Quality Management System of the company, as well as handling various operational and HR issues.

Mr. Deenazad Outim is a seasoned legal professional holding 10 years of experience in the legal arena. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Commonwealth Executive MBA.

He is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors. Mohammad started his career at Lambeth Solicitors and he later joined the legal department of the Mauritius Housing Co. Ltd. He pursued his career as Corporate Secretarial professional with a leading company secretary firm before joining Anglo Legal Ltd. Mohammad has been in the group for 5 years and he manages the group legal, compliance and administration matters. He is also involved in HR, corporate law, objection and tax matters.

Mohammad also acts as group company secretary. He has also recently developed an interest for project management and he is the Chairman of the Project Monitoring Committee of the group.

Dilbar joined the group at the beginning of 2020 as Group Finance Manager. He comes from a very large group of companies where also he was the Finance Manager.

Dilbar is in charge of the Treasury Management and Accounts Department of the Group. He successfully supports the management in the ‘day to day’ planning and decision making process with regards to funding and investments.

Within a short period of time, he has brought considerable and important changes within the Accounts Department and in the Accounting System. He has introduced Navision, a new integrated accounting system to make things much simpler and easier.

Dilbar is a professional accountant having over 20 years of practical experience in a varied portfolio of business.

Johnny is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor/Building Cost Economist. He is presently practising as quantity surveyor on a variety of construction project.

Johnny has been the Chairperson for various public bodies such as the Airport Of Mauritius Ltd and Business Parks of Mauritius Limited. He has also acted as an independent director on other public boards.

He is a senior manager for the Kalis Group of Companies. His role is mainly to provide support in the field of cost engineering and control for all investment aspects within the different clusters of the group.

Johnny holds a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying from the University of Cape Town, South Africa where he has worked as a tutor in the field of construction economics. Since May 2000, He is a Professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom.

Mr. Sangeet Fowdar is the Executive Director of the Business School. He is our expert in professional education in Accountancy and Finance. He has an international academic and practical exposure in Accountancy, Tax, Auditing, Offshore and Consultancy. Sangeet has mostly taught ACCA and ICAEW students both in London and Mauritius. As a lecturer of the AR Business School in London, he had the opportunity to attend the very privileged ‘meeting with the examiners’ of the ICAEW. This very special meeting allows educators to better understand the examiners at this highest professional level and therefore better prepare their students. Following a head-hunting, he was offered an appointment as Head of Professional Education at the London School of Accountancy and Management, a London based training institution having on board some 5,000 international students. Subsequently he created the Surrey Business School, a training institution specialized in professional accountancy education. On the practical front, after being involved in accountancy and auditing, Sangeet joined a firm of Chartered Accountants in London as partner and he stayed with them for a period of five years.

He returned back home to start an Offshore Management Company both as shareholder and the CEO. However after two years, in 2014, he resigned to allow himself sufficient time for his political activities as an elected MP. Sangeet has been in politics and Member of Parliament for some 10 years. He has been the Minister of Training and External Communications with the responsibility of vocational training, the port, the airport and civil aviation. During his tenure as MP and Minister he successfully created a body for the manpower planning, the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). This body was created with the view to shorten the skills gap on the job market. In 2001 he brought in the long awaited regulatory body for vocational training, the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA). He also introduced the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the concept of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). He has travelled extensively and on several occasions to participate in meetings as representative of the Government of Mauritius and the National Assembly. In fact he actively participated in meetings organized by the ACP, WTO, ICAO, United Nations and the World Bank amongst others. He was member of the Public Accounts Committee from 2015 to 2019.

Sangeet is British educated and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants. He has lived and worked in London for a number of years.

Mr. Rajeev Peddadu is the Group ICT Manager for Kalis group of companies for more than twelve years and Senior Manager for Technology & Marine cluster, where he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is graduated in the specialization field of Management Information System.

His experience and association with people from various background helps him to effectively manage people and their behaviours. He is creative and possesses excellent inter-personal management skills. Rajeev has got international specialist trainings especially in Dubai, Singapore, and South Africa, where his specialization is Core Computing Security and Digital Forensics.

Besides being a Member of the Chartered Institute for IT, (UK) and holding a Postgraduate in Enterprise Security and Digital Forensic, Rajeev is completing his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in the field of forensics.

Mr Sandiva Seeneevassen is currently working as Finance and Administrative Manager at Atics Ltd. He joined the organisation as Accountant in 2010 and owing to his hard work, he was promoted to Finance and Administrative Manager in 2017. He is a Graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He has more than 15 years of experience on tax, accounting and regulatory matters. He also acquired 3 years of work experience as Internal Auditor in one of the largest retailer in Mauritius. He then moved to a recognised international firm based locally where he gained experience in managing people. Subsequently, he moved to an offshore company to gain further work experience.
