Mr Rajiv Beeharry is a Consultant for Kalis Investment. He has a wide experience in banking, corporate finance and strategy planning. He has been previously been the Chief Executive Officer for the Mauritius Post and Cooperative Bank Ltd, the Managing Director of the State Investment Corporation Ltd and an investment banker for Gruntal & Co investment bank in New York.
He was the first Chairman of the Port Louis Fund Ltd, the largest open-ended mutual fund in Mauritius with total assets of Rs 750 m. He has been a board of several important public and private sector companies such as Sun Resorts Ltd, Airport of Mauritius Ltd, Hilton Mauritius Ltd, Caudan Development Ltd, Air Mauritius Ltd, Mauritius Freeport Development Ltd, State Investment Corporation Ltd, Central Thermique De Belle Vue Ltd, Oberoi Mauritius Ltd, Capital Asset Management Ltd , Domaine Les Pailles Ltd, Mauritius Duty Free Paradise Ltd; amongst others.
He holds a BS ( Honours) in Management Information Systems and an MBA from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, United States.
